Historic discount arrives on Steam

The Saboteur brings open-world action to occupied Paris, set during the Second World War, and is now 80% off on Steam, dropping to just $1.99 until May 7th.

What the title offers

Destroy strategic structures like trains, bridges, watchtowers, and enemy installations, while the resistance helps with weapon drops, distractions, and getaway vehicles. A standout feature is the noir visual style: occupied areas appear in black and white and gain color as they are liberated.

Critical reception and community

Upon release, GameStar praised the environment, open world, and action, rating the game 85/100. On Metacritic, the title has a metascore of 73 and a user score of 7.8. The Steam community is even more positive, with 91% of more than 2,500 reviews recommending the game. The title is listed as Playable on the Steam Deck.

Release context and availability

The Saboteur was developed by Pandemic Studios in partnership with Electronic Arts and arrived in stores in December 2009. The title appeared on Steam in March 2024, with a typical price near 10 dollars before the current promotion. The 80% offer represents a new record discount for the game, surpassing the previous record of 55% at the end of 2024.
