Steam's best-selling game receives the Steam Deck Verified seal; understand what this means for those playing on the handheld and get to know the success of Far Far West.
Steam Deck Verified: the top of Steam receives the official seal
Steam's best-selling game has been officially tested by Valve for the Steam Deck, confirming that it works from start to finish and is stable with the handheld's screen and controls. As always, having the seal does not imply perfection; doubts about the verification continue to arise.
Far Far West dominates the charts and gathers high ratings
At the top of the sales charts, Far Far West, a 1-4 player cooperative FPS released on April 28 by Evil Raptor and Fireshine Games, leads the charts. The title accumulates a 97% approval rate across 9,516 reviews, classifying it as Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam. The game is currently in early access.
The current price is $20; however, in the next 24 hours, there is a 10% discount, resulting in $17.99. To date, the game has already sold 500,000 copies on Steam — numbers that likely exceed the sums of the studio's two previous releases, Pumpkin Jack (2020) and Akimbot (2024).
As for the official release date, there is no announcement yet, and it is unclear how much support for the Steam Deck might emerge in the future. Although the technical requirements are modest compared to AAA titles, the handheld works well when running the game.
The Steam Deck Verified seal indicates compatibility tested by Valve, but it does not promise perfection. And you, would you consider testing Far Far West on the Steam Deck or prefer to wait for more reviews?
Tell us in the comments: would you buy Far Far West for $17.99 with the Steam Deck Verified seal, or would you rather wait for more feedback before purchasing?
