Greenhearth Necromancer chega ao Steam em maio: jardins que falam e necromancia suave

Greenhearth Necromancer arrives on Steam in May: talking gardens and gentle necromancy

Greenhearth Necromancer arrives on Steam on May 11, 2026, offering a cozy experience with gentle necromancy, light-responsive gardens, and Echo's story.

Officially announced by Silverstring Media and indie.io, Greenhearth Necromancer arrives on Steam on May 11, 2026, featuring a semi-idle experience dubbed a "cozy-mancer."

You follow Echo, a newly graduated non-binary witch who inherits her grandmother's apartment and a garden that is very much dead — now, it is up to her to cultivate peace and life in this community space at the Greenhearth cooperative.

Gameplay and atmosphere

Instead of constant pressure, the game invites relaxation. Players can experiment with necromantic spells and potions to revive plants at their own pace, accompanied by a soothing lo-fi soundtrack.

Plants, life, and the undead

Each plant reacts differently to the amount of sun and water. Some are alive, others may be undead, offering distinct challenges and discoveries throughout the care process.

Narrative and community

Beyond gardening, Echo needs to find her place among magical and non-magical residents. The story, written by Lindsay Ishihiro of I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, unfolds through an event deck system that blends scripted narrative with random encounters, creating variety with every playthrough.

Greenhearth Necromancer can already be added to your wishlist on Steam, preparing the ground for the May release.

Comment below: what caught your attention the most in this proposal — the relaxing gameplay, the mechanic of living and undead plants, or Echo's story among different communities?
