Update brings Steam Deck support, UE5 upgrade, and building improvements, with release scheduled for May 5th.
Fans of survival games already know that Conan Exiles is receiving an update that promises to renew the title. The Conan Exiles Enhanced Edition arrives with Steam Deck support and a significant upgrade to the Unreal Engine 5 (UE5), offering new possibilities for those playing with friends.
What changes with the Enhanced Edition
The update is free and brings several improvements. Two worlds are now connected through a single journey with the same character between them. Multiple character slots are supported, as well as improved building and crafting mechanics, including the ability to craft directly from storage. The redesigned interface makes navigation easier.
Steam Deck and performance
The highlight is the Steam Deck as a platform, with promises of good performance on the handheld. Even so, the team acknowledges that UE5 can bring challenges, as has already happened with other games when running on the Deck.
Release date and pricing
The Conan Exiles Enhanced Edition arrives on May 5th, marking the game's 8th anniversary. In the meantime, Conan Exiles is available on Steam for $39.99 or on GreenManGaming for $33.99 with the coupon APR15.
If you read this far, tell us in the comments which aspect of the update you are most excited to test on the Steam Deck. Do you think UE5 will bring real performance gains or are there still doubts about the handheld experience?
