Conan Exiles Enhanced arrives for free with UE5 and improvements for Steam Deck
Funcom has released a major free update for Conan Exiles, titled Conan Exiles Enhanced, available now for all players. The update comes with performance improvements for the Steam Deck.
Valve still officially classifies the title as unplayable on Steam Deck/SteamOS due to anti-cheat, but the update works in practice.
What changes with the update
- Content unification: the update migrates all content to Unreal Engine 5, bringing together eight years of content into a completely revamped experience.
- Graphics and audio: significant improvements to environments, characters, lighting, and effects.
- Unified map: The Exiled Lands and The Isle of Siptah now operate as a continuous immersive experience (The Isle of Siptah is a separate purchase).
- Performance: optimizations for 60+ FPS on most PC settings (Low/Medium/High/Ultra).
- Handheld performance: solid performance on Steam Deck for gaming on the go.
- UI: redesigned interface and usability improvements.
- Other improvements: several quality-of-life improvements.
The main game costs £33.99 / $39.99 / €39.99.
