Impressive performance on PC

After a cycle of delays since its announcement in 2020, Pragmata was released on April 17th. Capcom has confirmed that the game has already sold more than 1 million copies in just two days.

On Steam, the title recorded a peak of 56,000 concurrent players on the first day, growing to more than 68,000 the following day.

Reviews and compatibility

Pragmata's reviews on Steam appear as “Overwhelmingly Positive”, with about 97% positive among more than 4,000 reviews.

The game is also Steam Deck Verified, ensuring a good experience in portable mode.

Experience, gameplay, and plot

In gameplay, the player controls two characters in an integrated way: Hugh, who handles movement and combat, and Diana, an android capable of hacking systems. The story takes place in a lunar facility dominated by rebel AI, with the characters seeking a way back to Earth.

Context for Capcom in 2026 and promotions

This year has been promising for Capcom. In February, Resident Evil Requiem sold more than 5 million copies in five days.

Pragmata also integrates with an Nvidia promotion, which offers a copy of the game with qualifying GPUs.
