During Steam's Tower Defense Fest, Tower Petroleum launched a robust demo, already implementing visual and balancing overhauls.

Developed by Proud Turkeys, a studio of only three people from Warsaw, the title mixes deckbuilding with tower defense, as well as narrative choices that shape the game's path.

Demo Content

• 3 levels — the first serves as an introductory difficulty tutorial for beginners
• 5 towers — each with a distinct tactical role
• 8 enemy types — advancing from the depths
• 2 boss encounters — to test your build
• 27 cards — unlockable and available to experiment with in different runs

This sample allows players to feel how deckbuilding mechanics intertwine with tower defense and test card synergy under pressure.

What makes Tower Petroleum unique

The title is a hybrid that takes both aspects seriously: deck-building and tower defense. You build and upgrade towers to defend against waves of monsters in a frozen post-apocalyptic world, featuring a full deck system that includes hero assignments, card combos, and moral choices that influence the narrative.

Who is behind it

The creative leadership is handled by Vasili Hahalushka (Art Direction and Design), with 15 years of experience in TV animation. The lead programmer is Andrei Voshchevoz, with 16 years in the industry, and Costa Nalobin handles game design and QA, with a decade of work.

There is no release date for the full game yet, but the demo offers a substantial sample to test while you wait.
