Steam Deck beta update fixes demo bugs and reorganizes library
A new update for the Steam Deck beta client is now available and focuses on fixing problems related to demos, bringing improvements that would make a difference during Next Fest.
Main changes
Among the improvements, the library actions undergo an important adjustment for those who recently tested demos.
- In the library, installed demos that are no longer playable will now display 'Uninstall' as the main action, instead of 'Play'.
- Newly added demos and free-to-play games appear at the top of the recent games list.
- In Steam Input, the clipping of action set information on the configuration editing page has been fixed.
How to update
You can download the update directly from the Settings menu on the Steam Deck. Make sure the update channel is set to Beta or Preview.
